The contribution is devoted to the use of coaching in the framework of intergenerational relationships in the family. Coaching as an auxiliary tool is providing to people to develop and make better use of their potential. A person gets the opportunity to recognize his strengths and acquire techniques for further development. Within the framework of intergenerational coexistence in a family, coaching improves the emotional experience of complex situations that logically occur in relationships in intergenerational coexistence in families. Based on the change in the value ranking in relationships with the help of coaching, the situation in the family calms down, the overall climate improves and the individual members function better within the family, but also towards the surrounding environment. Coaching contributes to the improvement of communication between all members in the family, and thus positively affects the psychological health of each of them across generations and in the individual social coalitions that arise in families. In the family, negative beliefs are eliminating and the potential for a new perspective on the possibilities of coexistence and their emotionally healthy development arises.
